SELF CATERING COTTAGES.

Converted from a former workshop and store, we have two delightful, two-bedroomed, self-catering cottages, set in their own grounds to the rear of the main house.

Named after a couple of the local mountains, both cottages offer you cosy, warmly decorated, well furnished, fully equipped accommodation, both ideal for a couple with Craig Bheag also comfortable for two adults with two youngsters.

Craig Dhubh, (1 Bedroom, sleeping 2).

This lovely, cosy, cottage has been recently fully refurbished and remodelled and now offers excellent accommodation for 2. There’s a super, spacious living room, with a very comfortable sofa in front of the cast iron electric fire, a dining area with table and chairs for 2 and a small but fully equipped kitchen area.

Stepping through the patio doors takes you outside to your private, sheltered sitting area, which traps the sun throughout the afternoon and early evening.

The central hallway leads from the living room through to the large double bedroom, complete with its own comfy sofa, and to the shower and WC.

Craig Bheag. (2 Bedrooms, sleeping up to 2 adults & 2 youngsters).

This is the slightly larger of the two units with ample accommodation for a family. It has a good-sized living room with a quality three-piece suite, dining table & chairs for four and, just next door, a separate, fully-equipped kitchen. There’s a patio right outside the french windows, with garden table and chairs, where you can relax, basking in the evening sun.

Sleeping arrangements are by way of a double bedroom and a separate bunkroom, both sharing the shower and WC just a step away.

Equipment and Facilities.

Whichever cottage you decide meets your needs the best, you will find everything that you need for a comfortable and relaxed stay – the ideal base from which to explore this lovely part of Scotland.

From the moment you arrive you will appreciate the separate driveway, the ample parking right outside your cottage and the lovely gardens.

Moving inside, you will find nice furniture, carpets and cosy beds made up with quality duvets, pillows and linen.

In your living room there is a Colour TV, (with a DVD Player in Craig Dhubh), a CD/Radio, and lots of books and games then, in your kitchen, you will find a full cooker, oven and grill, a microwave, toaster, kettle, a fridge or fridge freezer, sparkling crockery and cutlery, pots, pans, cooking utensils and, of course, tea towels.

Your shower room has fluffy towels warming gently on the heated rail and a selection of quality toiletries too. Each cottage also has a hairdryer.

Each room has its own thermostatically controlled, convector heater for your comfort and the domestics are not forgotten with a hoover, duster & polish tucked away and with a clothes horse, ironing board and iron should the need arise. (The laundry is just a couple of minutes away in the town).

In addition to your own private patio, outside there is a Barbeque, just perfect for those summer evening cook-ups.
